Due to the demographic changes in society regenerative medicine has become more and more important over the last decade. Therefore this very interdisciplinary field of biomedical research requires suitable platforms for scientific exchange. With the World Conference on Regenerative Medicine we aim to provide such a platform bringing scientists with an academic, clinical and industrial background together.
Again it is a great pleasure for me to announce the World Conference on Regenerative Medicine 2013, which will take place October 23–25, in Leipzig (Germany). The meeting will, as in past years, encompass a broad range of topics in regenerative medicine from biomaterials to biomarkers as well as regulation and stem cell technologies.
We expect more than 1,000 attendees and hundreds of papers with ground-breaking scientific insights and new results. Furthermore, the conference hosts a large exhibition where international researchers and biotechnology companies can extensively demonstrate the reach of current technology’s translation and the implementation of research in products.
I am looking forward to meeting you at this interdisciplinary and stimulating event. Do not miss the opportunity to hear about and discuss new scientific developments, encounter new people and meet old friends and colleagues – and all together spend exciting days in Leipzig.
