Invitation: Business & Science Mission of Healthcare Sector Companies to Portugal

The Portuguese Trade & Investment Agency is organizing, in collaboration with Health Cluster Portugal, a Business & Science Mission of Danish and Swedish, Healthcare sector companies to Portugal, on October 2nd-3rd, 2019.

The aim of this mission is the establishment of new business and scientific partnerships between Danish/Swedish companies and Portuguese R&D institutions, interface centres, clinical academic centres, contract research organizations (CRO) and contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMO) – including R&D services and clinical trials.

The objectives of this mission also encompass:

• Disclosing the full potential of the Portuguese Healthcare sector to Danish and Swedish stakeholders;
• Promoting the interaction between Portuguese and Danish/Swedish players within the Health sector, in order to boost business opportunities and cooperation practices;
• Sharing experiences and best practices in areas such as internationalization, cooperation, business models, R&D, innovation, and entrepreneurship;
• Fostering the commercial, scientific, and technological relations between Portugal and Denmark/Sweden.

The mission is focused on Pharma & Biotech, particularly on the areas of neurosciences, oncology, and metabolic diseases.

Registration to this mission is free of charge. The present invitation covers the following costs (1 person per company):

(i)    accommodation (3 nights)
(ii)   meeting & visit transfers (by bus)
(iii)  meals during meetings & visits

Travel costs (flights) and transfers airport-hotel-airport are not covered.
