DANISH BIO – DANSK BIOTEK organizes four major plenary meetings for our members throughout the year to increase our members' knowledge regarding specific biotech topics and to facilitate networking. The events usually take place in February, May, September and November.

We also organize approximately four "saloon" meetings annually. They are small, intimate, "meet the expert" meetings with typically 6-20 participants advocating more in-depth discussion and knowledge-sharing on specific themes.

Most Innovative European Biotech SME Awards

The Most Innovative European Biotech SME Award is a unique annual initiative recognizing biotech innovation and its contribution to society. Depending on their field of activity, SMEs can apply in 3 categories: healthcare, agricultural or industrial biotech. Applications must be submitted online by COB Monday 3 July 2017 (extension might be possible).

Two companies will be shortlisted in each category by a jury or biotech experts, with the winners celebrated during a landmark event for SMEs held in November. Each winner will also receive a €10,000 cheque and two years of free EuropaBio membership (runners-up also receive the latter). Experts on the very strong Jury include Anne Glover, the former EU Scientific Advisor.

Danish SMEs have applied and been shortlisted before, but this year no applications from Denmark have been received so far…
